For many years the private residence of noble families and the result of an attentive restoration carefully preserving the heritage of the past, today Roncolo 1888 is the perfect stop-over in the Emilian countryside.

A dream getaway from busy daily lives, this timeless, peaceful place has a unique location in the centre of the Food and Motor Valley in Emilia Romagna, between Parma (35km) and Reggio Emilia (15km). A corner of nature and peace, situated at the foothill of the Appenine, with gravel roads lined by cypress trees.

Relais Roncolo 1888 is home to one of the largest and oldest vinegar cellars in the area, the historic Acetaia of Canossa of the Venturini Baldini estate, whose more than 400 barrels date back to the seventeenth century.
