Magna Pars L’ Hotel à Parfum is an all-suite boutique hotel and the first Hotel à Parfum; built upon the foundations of the former ICR perfume factory, it is a unique expression of Italian excellence and heritage. The 60 Suites are named after flowering trees, bushes and fruit trees whose skilfully extracted essences are used in the refined art of perfume-making.

Its structure expands and enriches the Magna Pars Event Space, a multi-purpose space, since years protagonist of the dynamic and creative reality of the area.

Magna Pars L’ Hotel à Parfum is tucked away in the heart of the Design and Fashion District of Milano, few steps away from the Navigli, the canals, offering the opportunity to live the bohemian and artistic vibe of the city as well as their famous aperitivi, that the Milanese like to enjoy at sunset by the famous canals.

The hotel is located just a few minute’s walk from the historic Porta Genova station and the lively Via Tortona, the nerve centre of fashion and design, but benefits from being immersed in the quiet atmosphere of Via Forcella, an out-of-the-way street that ensures absolute tranquillity. Thanks to its strategic position, it is close to the business and cultural areas of the city and to the trendy clubs and fashion boutiques where guests can relax and spend their leisure time.

The sixty suites, each dedicated to an olfactory ingredient, were designed for the most refined and discerning guests and decorated with the same loving care as one’s home. Superb Italian textiles and furnishings, outstanding artisan workmanship, and tanned natural leather handmade by skilled Italian artisans and talented furniture-makers from the Lombardy region add beauty and uniqueness to the rooms. Each suite decorated in subtle colors has refined lighting, brushed oak wood plank floors, leather sofas and chairs, glass tables, a bookcase with a small private collection, and refined paintings inspired by the olfactory elements that give each suite its name and character.

A modern bar corner, a well-lit, cosy living area, a 46-inch television, an elegant bedroom and a spacious bath complete the architecture of the suites that are perfect for travellers who want to feel right at home.

Forty suites, distributed on three floors, face the inner courtyard and are inspired by a floral, fruity or woody olfactory note in line with the family history of perfume-making. Twenty recently inaugurated suites inserted in the original structure of the perfume factory are distributed on two floors. These innovative suites, some with large terraces and others with adjoining rooms, were created for a new type of hospitality dedicated to guests traveling with family or friends, companions of life and adventure. There are also new private loft apartments typical of the artistic Tortona area.

An imposing and elegant glass wall provides a glimpse of the past with post-industrial elements, original walls, exposed brick corridors and steel banisters. Inside, the predominantly white color scheme is warmed by wood and collections of ancient books, while the minimalist décor is enhanced by the art work of famous or emerging artists from around the world, a prelude to the growing Magna Pars Art Gallery.

The sixty hotel suites – an expression of excellence and human creativity catering to the most refined guests – offer sophisticated Italian hospitality. Each suite is inspired by a floral, fruity, aromatic, woody or resinous olfactory note in line with the history of perfumes. In particular, nineteen suites are dedicated to flowering trees and bushes such as the Gardenia, Jasmine, Neroli and Magnolia. Nine are devoted to woods such as Vetiver, Sandalwood and Patchouli, twelve are inspired by fruit trees such as the Loquat, Cherry and Fig, and twenty are dedicated to aromatic shrubs like White Sage and resinous plants such as Myrrh and Styrax.

A search for excellence and a passion for art, experimentation and the city of Milan has led to the launch of an original project tied to the world of Art, which is an integral part of Magna Pars. The Magna Pars Art Gallery has no boundaries, like art itself. It extends through the hotel and suites, following an emotional and cultural path through works by international artists. The path begins with a work by Gustavo Aceves that welcomes guests in the Open Lobby.

The roof deck covers an area of 300 square meters, of which 100 square meters is covered. There is a spacious private meeting room with state-of-the-art high-tech equipment for audio-visual presentations, remote control devices, and modern videoconferencing systems.

Body care, relaxation and exercise: the fitness center with Technogym equipment and the spa with different wellness and beauty programs blend in the strikingly unique atmosphere. The space with its well-appointed décor in warm wood tones overlooks the inner courtyard.

At the center of the well-lit, welcoming Open Lobby of Magna Pars, Hotel à Parfum, is the entrance to the Lounge Bar and Restaurant. The secret copper door made by the artists of the Brera Fine Arts Academy opens onto an elegant, comfortable setting.

Magna Pars Event Space, established in 1991, is located on the ground floor of an early twentieth-century building at Via Tortona 15, Milan. Now, thanks to the hotel, it has been renovated and greatly improved.
The structure, originally the premises of the Perfume Factory, was converted into a multipurpose venue in 1991, preserving and re-interpreting the original features of the post-industrial building in an elegant and contemporary style. There are multipurpose conference rooms for all events and occasions, from business meetings to private parties, and a catering service.
