Ten years of stories, places and independent hotels
This year marks a special milestone for me as FBR Hotel Consulting celebrates its 10th anniversary. Over the past decade, my goal has been to support exceptional independent hotels in sharing their stories and connecting with travellers who value authenticity, place and character.
2026 is already shaping up to be an exciting year for many of the properties I represent: Borgo Pignano is preparing to unveil its Florence property following an extensive renovation, Le Sirenuse in Positano celebrates its remarkable 75th anniversary, Borgo Santandrea on the Amalfi Coast is getting ready to reopen for the season with its ethos and special design, and so is Coquillade in Provence, and Abi d’Oru Beach Hotel & Spa in Sardinia will welcome guests again in May after a €20 million renovation.
To celebrate these milestones, I am launching this news page on the website, sharing conversatoions with several owners and general managers who share their perspectives and plans for the future.
