The Estate
Abi d’Oru is a luxury family resort located in Porto Rotondo, on the Gulf of Marinella, one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia. Fine white sands meet a turquoise sea that shimmers into every imaginable shade of blue.
Rooms & Suites
Almost all of our rooms, which include Deluxe Rooms, Junior Suites, Family Deluxe Rooms, Suites, Premium suites and recently renovated Signature Suites, enjoy views of the sea or the hotel gardens.
Sardinian and Mediterranean furnishings are combined to create a fresh, cool atmosphere, enhanced with marble from Orosei and Samugheo rugs, and all rooms are equipped with modern facilities.
Rooms
The rooms (even within the same ‘room-type’) are all unique with different shape, none is equal to another because they were designed in 1963.
Suites
The Premium Suites can accommodate up to 2 adults and 2 kids in fresh, airy surroundings with parquet flooring or in Orosei marble, artisan fabrics and handcrafted furniture in light tones.
Signature Suites
Named after Nobel Prize-winning Sardinian author Grazia Deledda and historical figure Eleonora of Arborea. They embody a simple luxury that reflects Sardinian traditions, elegantly communicated through a careful combination of materials and decor.
Restaurants & Bars
Three restaurants make Abi d’Oru a gourmet destination appreciated by both in-house and external guests. A passion for fine dining and local ingredients is reflected in the Italian cuisine of the Mediterraneo restaurant and in the Sardinian tradition of Tzia Maria.
The true driving force of beach life is the Beach Club Trattoria del Pescatore, serving umbrella service during the day and elegant aperitifs in the evening. The Pool Bar offers smoothies, appetizers, fruit platters, and ice creams that can be enjoyed while relaxing on the poolside loungers or on the lawn. With a stunning sea-view terrace, the Lobby Bar is ideal for a sunset aperitif or after-dinner drink accompanied by piano music. Mediterraneo Restaurant
At breakfast, local specialities are offered alongside cakes, breads and a selection of fine patisserie, all prepared fresh by our pastry chef. Juices, extracts, smoothies and fresh-squeezed fruit and vegetables accompany a selection of freshly-cooked dishes and a show cooking area where a selection of egg dishes are prepared.
At sunset, dinner awaits with a menu focused around traditional Mediterranean and Sardinian cuisine, daily specials prepared by the chefs in the open kitchen, themed evenings, show cooking and, once a week, a traditional Sardinian buffet.
Trattoria del Pescatore Restaurant
Trattoria del Pescatore, a historic seafood restaurant in Milan, belongs to the Ardu family, who now bring their authentic seafood dishes to the Abi d’Oru, where the catch is the protagonist and the guest is at the centre of the experience.
Tzia Maria Restaurant
The Tzia Maria Restaurant, overlooking the hotel’s park, offers cuisine inspired by Sardinian traditions, featuring a selection of grilled meats, local specialities and pizzas. An informal and welcoming setting where authentic local flavours meet the pleasure of convivial dining.
Lobby Terrace Bar
The Lobby Terrace Bar, in the hall, has the classic piano bar atmosphere of large hotels. With its notes it decorates the sunset, with its drinks it enlivens the convivial islands behind the windows or on the main terrace of the hotel.

Pool Bar

The hotel offers spa treatments with therapy rooms, sauna, Turkish bath, sensory showers and an ice waterfall as well as yoga sessions and hair styling in our salon.
Abi Spa
Four therapy rooms, each themed around the scent of a typical Sardinian essence, are available for massages and cosmetic treatments for the face and body. The treatments draw inspiration from Sardinia’s natural heritage, incorporating local ingredients such as honey, salt and clay, alongside the essential oils and botanical essences of the Mediterranean maquis. Among the signature experiences is the Sardinian Rebirth Ritual, inspired by the longevity of the Sardinian people and the island’s natural elements.

The gym, equipped with the latest Technogym machines, offers the ideal space to work out, practice yoga, or take a class with personal training available on request.
