Childhood mountain memories of Les Trois Vallées

The Three Valleys clearly hold a personal significance for your family. How did your childhood memories in the mountains shape the vision behind Le Coucou and Saint-Roch?

“The mountains have always held a special place for our family, and many childhood memories were created there. Those experiences naturally informed the emotional vision behind both projects.

“At the same time, we understood from the beginning that Méribel and Courchevel attract different guests with different expectations, so it was important not to create the same experience twice. The shared inspiration may be personal, but each property needed its own distinct identity.”

Although both properties are rooted in the Three Valleys, Méribel and Courchevel each have very distinct personalities and atmospheres. How did those differences shape your vision for Le Coucou and Saint-Roch respectively?

“The destinations are very different, and so are the expectations of the guests who visit them. That naturally shaped our approach. Le Coucou in Méribel was imagined as something softer, quieter, and more minimal in spirit, aligned with the relaxed and family-oriented atmosphere of the resort.

“Saint-Roch in Courchevel allowed for a richer, more expressive aesthetic, with bolder patterns, deeper textures, and a more layered decorative language.

“Our philosophy is always to create places that genuinely respond to their destination and clientele rather than applying a single formula across the portfolio.”
